Course History
The Links at Northfork was designed by Joel Goldstrand and is one of Minnesota’s few true Scottish links style golf courses. Since opening in 1992, the Links at Northfork has developed a reputation for superior playing conditions and unmatched practice facilities. Playing host to prestigious golf tournaments such as the US Open qualifer, Senior PGA 3M Qualifier and numerous Minnesota Golf Association the Links at Northfork is recognized as a excellent test of golf.
The Links at Northfork offers four sets of tee boxes and bentgrass from tee to green, providing private course playing conditions at value based prices. The Links also hosts the most complete practice facility in the Twin Cities with a spacious all grass driving range, two practice greens, chipping green, practice sand bunker, and our par eleven 3-hole practice loop.
Located in Ramsey, MN in the Northwest metro of the Twin Cities, The Links features a beautiful banquet facility for up to 275 people, a 4-star Golf Digest-rated Championship golf course, a fully stocked Pub and Pro Shop. The quality of this course and clubhouse make The Links one of the most popular venues in Minnesota and provide golfers of all skill levels a challenging and memorable experience.
In 1996, Steve Veriato playing in the Senior PGA Coldwell Banker (now 3M Championship) qualifier fired an 11-under 61 to set the course record.
